Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The BYD Caribbean “Test Drive to Win” Competition (“Competition”) is organized and administered by the authorized BYD distributor/dealer in each participating market (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • Age & License: The Competition is open to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and hold a valid driver's license issued for at least one (1) full year.
  • Residency: Open strictly to legal residents of participating Caribbean markets: Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua, Barbados and St. Lucia. The local authorised BYD Dealer/distributor in any of the participating locations above is responsible for collecting your personal information and is the data controller of your personal information.
  • Exclusions: Employees, directors, officers, agents, and immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) of ATL Automotive, BYD Caribbean, the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Sandals Resorts, official tournament sponsors, advertising agencies, or any entity directly involved in the administration of this promotion are strictly ineligible to enter or win.
  • Travel Documents: Entrants must possess a valid passport with at least six (6) months' validity beyond the travel date and be legally eligible to enter Barbados. Any required visa, health, or travel documentation remains the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.

3. Competition Period

  • Start Date: The Competition commences at 12:00 AM (local market time) on Monday, August 3, 2026.
  • End Date: The Competition closes at 11:59 PM (local market time) on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Entries received outside this window will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

  1. Step 1: Visit the official BYD x CPL campaign website (https://www.bydcaribbean.net/cpl) and complete the online registration form or visit a participating BYD showroom during the Competition Period to register your interest.
  2. Step 2: Complete an official test drive of any participating BYD vehicle at your selected dealership during the Competition Period.
  3. Step 3: Ensure the official competition entry form has been completed in full with accurate contact details. If you registered online, your selected dealership will contact you to arrange your test drive and finalize your entry.

Entry Limit: Strictly one (1) test drive and one (1) entry per person across the entire Competition Period. Duplicate or automated entries will be disqualified.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win the competition.

5. Prize Package

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive an all-inclusive trip for two (2) to the CPL Finals in Barbados, consisting of:

  • Two (2) economy class return airline tickets to Barbados from the winner's home country.
  • Three (3) days / two (2) nights hotel stay at Sandals Barbados (September 19–21, 2026).
  • Ground transfers in Barbados (airport-to-hotel and hotel-to-match venue where arranged by the Promoter).
  • Two (2) premium tickets to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Final on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Kensington Oval.

Prize Conditions:

  • Non-Transferable: The prize is strictly non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or alternative travel dates.
  • Additional Costs: All costs not explicitly outlined above—including passport/visa fees, personal spending money, unincluded meals, incidental resort charges, luggage fees, and personal travel insurance—are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

  • Random Draw: The winner will be selected via a random electronic draw conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
  • Notification Window: The selected winner will be contacted via telephone and/or email. The winner must confirm acceptance and provide required travel details within twenty-four (24) hours of notification.
  • Forfeiture: If the selected winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within 24 hours, declines the prize, or is unable to travel, the Promoter reserves the right to draw an alternate winner.

7. Publicity & Data Protection

  • Publicity Release: By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Promoter, BYD Caribbean, and CPL to use their name, photo, video footage, and likeness for marketing and promotional purposes across print, digital, and social media without additional compensation.
  • Data Privacy: The right to object to the processing of your personal information and to request the restriction of processing of your personal information. Personal information submitted during entry will be processed in accordance with applicable regional data protection laws. 8. General Conditions & Liability Limit

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify entry eligibility and disqualify any individual suspected of fraud, tampering, or violating these Terms.
  • The Promoter is not liable for technical glitches, lost internet connections, or incomplete entries.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, BYD, CPL, and Sandals Resorts shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident, or flight delays occurring during or as a result of participation or travel.
